Corporate Resilience in the COVID Era: A Mission for the Community

Amid the disruptions caused by COVID-19, the real estate market has undergone severe consolidation. However, enterprises with strong financial capacity and well-defined strategies have managed to break through and leave a strong mark with impressive projects—among them, KITA Group stands out as a prime example.

Stella Mega City (Can Tho), developed by KITA Group with a total investment of over VND 10,000 billion, embodies three core values that define a world-class Star Mega City: an airport-oriented urban area, a golf-adjacent urban area, and a green urban area.

Steadfast Progress, Creating Breakthrough Milestones

Entering the real estate market in 2014, KITA Group has made a strong impression by successfully launching a series of projects across Vietnam, from North to South. These projects have been positively received by the market, including the Star Mega City – Stella Mega City (Can Tho), Stella en Tropic (Ho Chi Minh City), Inter Stella (Ho Chi Minh City), the Golden Hills eco-urban area (Da Nang), and the Quoc Oai urban area (Hanoi), among others.

With a sustainable development strategy, the Group has intensified investment in developing large-scale, clean land banks at prime locations. A vivid example of this strategy is the Star Mega City – Stella Mega City project, located in the heart of Can Tho City, with a total scale of up to 150 hectares and an initial investment of more than VND 10,000 billion. This is considered the most premium urban development in Can Tho, featuring a comprehensive system of five-star, international-standard internal amenities.

Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Trang, CEO of KITA Group, shared: “Our steadfastness enables us to deliver breakthrough real estate products to the market, thereby building customer trust in a shared aspiration for a higher-quality life.”

At the same time, the strategy of diversifying markets and product segments has generated multiple revenue streams for the Group. Moreover, projects are being implemented with accelerated speed and efficiency, creating new momentum and opening up opportunities across many fronts.

Strong financial capacity is one of the key foundations that ensure KITA Group’s successful execution of its breakthrough strategies with stability and safety—not only in 2021 but also in pursuit of longer-term ambitions.

In 2020, KITA Group reinforced its reputation by winning a series of awards at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2020. Notably, the Group secured some of the most prestigious titles, including Best Breakthrough Developer in Vietnam and Best Township Development in Vietnam for the Stella Mega City project in Can Tho.

Additionally, in the same year, at the Dot Property Vietnam Awards 2020, KITA Group was convincingly honored with the title of Best Township Developer in Vietnam.

Reflecting on the rapid progress achieved in a short time, KITA Group attributes its continuous breakthroughs over the years to strong and abundant internal capabilities. The achievements to date serve as validation of the Group’s solid strategic direction, opening a new phase of pursuing higher and more ambitious goals.

Specifically, KITA Group remains steadfast in its mission to deliver breakthrough real estate products and superior services, enhancing the quality of life for millions of customers in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. By 2025, KITA Group aims to be among the Top 10 real estate developers in Vietnam, and by 2030, to rank among the Top 10 real estate developers in Southeast Asia.

Building Trust, Inspiring the Aspiration for a Quality Life

Alongside sustainable business operations, KITA Group consistently identifies the sharing of value with society as a responsibility essential to long-term sustainable development. Success is not only measured by business performance but also by a company’s responsibility to contribute to community development.

For the Group, the goal of community development activities is to make long-term and sustainable contributions to national construction and development. A notable example is the construction of five community bridges in Hau Giang Province, including in Vinh Trung Commune (Vi Thuy District), Vinh Vien A Commune (Long My District), and Long My Town. These projects, carried out in cooperation with local authorities, replace deteriorated temporary wooden bridges, providing safer and more convenient transportation while laying the groundwork for local economic development.

Notably, in 2020 and 2021, despite facing significant challenges due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, KITA Group demonstrated resilience by overcoming difficulties, maintaining business operations, and allocating more than VND 7 billion to social welfare activities.

The Group provided gifts and scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds with outstanding academic achievements during the 2020 Lunar New Year; donated 550 Tet gift packages to policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged households, and people with meritorious service to the revolution; and presented 350 gift packages to children with disabilities at the Thi Nghe Center for Disabled Children.

In Can Tho, the Group organized a Mid-Autumn Festival for children in Binh Thuy District, and donated VND 1 billion to Can Tho General Hospital and the Can Tho City Police to support frontline efforts in the fight against COVID-19.

KITA Group contributed VND 1 billion to support Can Tho Central General Hospital and the Can Tho City Police in COVID-19 preparedness and response efforts.

Turning its attention to central Vietnam, KITA Group organized a charity football tournament to raise more than VND 1 billion for disaster relief, and distributed 500 emergency relief gift packages to Quang Nam and Da Nang provinces.

More meaningfully, a large portion of the disaster relief funding came directly from the voluntary contributions of the Group’s employees. This spirit of charity is a cultural value that KITA Group has fostered and inspired among its staff since the very first days of its establishment.

“Remaining steadfast and consistent with our objectives, developing sustainably alongside the community, and improving quality of life are the Group’s development orientations. This is also KITA Group’s commitment and message to our customers, society, and the community,” shared Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Trang, CEO of KITA Group.

For its contributions to the community, KITA Group was honored with the Special Recognition for CSR award at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2020. This recognition stands as a worthy acknowledgment from society for the Group’s positive community contributions, alongside its business achievements on the journey of aspiration, breakthrough value creation, and elevated positioning.
