On March 9, KITA Group Joint Stock Company (KITA Group), the project developer, in coordination with Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club Co., Ltd., held the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club Project. The event was attended by leaders of the Hai Phong City People’s Council and People’s Committee, leaders of An Lao District, along with representatives of enterprises, partners, and related stakeholders.
Hai Phong Sakura Golf is located in Truong Thanh and An Tien communes, covering a total area of more than 82 hectares with a total investment of VND 2,271 billion. The project is considered one of the five key projects prioritized for acceleration in 2025 by Hai Phong City.
Other key projects include the construction of Terminal T2 of Cat Bi International Airport with a total investment of over VND 2,405 billion; the development of a new urban area in Duong Kinh District and Kien Thuy District with a total investment of VND 23,218 billion; the construction of a 75-storey mixed-use complex in the North Cam River New Urban Area with an investment exceeding VND 7,515 billion; and the development and operation of infrastructure for Tien Thanh Industrial Park with a total investment of VND 4,597 billion.
Hai Phong Sakura Golf is planned as an integrated complex comprising an 18-hole international-standard golf course; commercial shophouses; semi-detached and detached villas; resort apartments and hotels; modern technical infrastructure systems; and distinctive green parks and landscaped spaces.

Upon completion and operation, Hai Phong Sakura Golf will add to the city’s system of international-standard golf courses. Currently, Hai Phong has four golf courses meeting international standards, including Vinpearl Golf Hai Phong, Sono Belle Hai Phong (Thuy Nguyen), BRG Ruby Tree (Do Son District), and Dragon Golf Links.
The groundbreaking ceremony of the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club Project not only marks a significant milestone in KITA Group’s development journey, but also opens a new phase of growth for the region. With its scale and stature, the project is expected to become an ideal destination, making a meaningful contribution to Hai Phong’s strategy for sustainable urban development.
Delivering remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho – Vice Chairman of the Hai Phong People’s Committee, emphasized: “I acknowledge and highly appreciate the efforts of the An Lao District People’s Committee and relevant units, especially the professionalism and determination of the investor in promptly completing all legal procedures in accordance with regulations and ensuring sufficient resources to commence construction of the project.”
He further noted that the implementation and completion of the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club Project are expected to generate substantial benefits for investors, enhance the city’s tourism value, create additional jobs and income for local workers, increase state budget revenues, and contribute positively to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong City.
With a strategic location along Hai Phong’s economic – cultural – spiritual tourism development corridor, Hai Phong Sakura Golf enjoys connectivity to Long Hoa Pagoda, the scenic and historical Elephant Mountain (Nui Voi) complex, and a system of spectacular caves such as Hong Voi, Gia Vi, and Bach Tuyet. As a result, the project not only attracts investors but also helps elevate Hai Phong’s tourism profile on the international map.
In addition, the emergence of the golf complex and resort urban area is expected to create strong momentum for various industries including services, commerce, transportation, and hospitality, opening up thousands of job opportunities for local residents.
At the ceremony, representatives of KITA Group’s leadership stated that investment and project development in Hai Phong City represent a long-term strategic orientation of the Group. Among these, the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club Project is one of the key projects implemented by KITA Group in 2025, with the goal of becoming one of the most prestigious integrated residential, resort, sports, and entertainment complexes in the region.
