During a business trip to China in March 2026, KITA Group’s leadership held a working session with representatives of SAIC Motor and conducted an on-site inspection of the Yuejin commercial vehicle brand under the group. This activity is part of KITA Group’s strategy to expand international partnerships, particularly in automobile manufacturing and assembly—an area the company has been investing in heavily in recent years.

At the Yuejin factory in Nanjing, China, the KITA Group delegation toured the entire production line, including the stamping workshop, intelligent welding system, modern painting line, and final vehicle assembly area. Yuejin currently operates a Gudel dual-arm stamping system, adaptive welding technology, automated painting lines, and a lean logistics system designed to optimize costs and minimize waste—technologies considered highly efficient for large-scale commercial vehicle production.
During the visit, KITA Group showed particular interest in light-duty and medium-duty trucks, which are Yuejin’s core segments and align well with the rapidly growing demand in Vietnam, especially in urban transport, logistics, and e-commerce. Several passenger vehicle models under development by Yuejin, notably the Maxus line, were also introduced as potential platforms for expanding the product portfolio in the future.

The Maxus line developed by Yuejin is positioned in the multi-purpose vehicle segment, emphasizing stable performance, efficiency, and safety.
During the trip, both sides also discussed manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, global product development trends, and potential collaboration models. KITA Group expressed expectations that access to SAIC Motor’s large-scale industrial ecosystem would support its automotive development strategy in Vietnam, spanning products, technology, and supply chains.
Demand for commercial vehicles in Vietnam is projected to continue growing, driven by the expansion of urban transportation, e-commerce, and logistics sectors. Light-duty and medium-duty trucks have shown strong growth in recent years and are considered segments with significant sales expansion potential. With a product portfolio proven in more than 60 markets, Yuejin is regarded as well-suited for deeper participation in Vietnam’s supply chain.
As part of its long-term strategy, KITA Group aims to develop automobile manufacturing and assembly into one of its key business pillars. Previously, the company signed a strategic partnership with Chery Group in the electric commercial vehicle segment, gaining experience working with international manufacturers and accessing new technologies.
Looking ahead, potential cooperation with SAIC Motor and the Yuejin brand is expected to be the next step in enhancing manufacturing capabilities, diversifying product offerings, and strengthening KITA Group’s position in the industry.
Currently, Yuejin operates a factory spanning 1.05 million square meters with an annual capacity of 100,000 vehicles. In 2025, the brand recorded sales of 41,000 vehicles and revenue of USD 850 million, with more than 80,000 vehicles exported to international markets. Meanwhile, SAIC Motor is one of Asia’s largest automobile manufacturers, with a global production ecosystem and supply chain.
Through its visit and working sessions with SAIC Motor, along with the Yuejin brand survey, KITA Group demonstrates a clear direction in strengthening international cooperation to enhance its automotive industrial capabilities. This trip not only opens up expectations for new advancements in KITA Group’s manufacturing sector but also reflects its “Go Global” strategy—driven by proactiveness, equal partnership, and the creation of sustainable value.
