On February 14, KITA Group officially announced an architectural design competition for the TM01 building, aiming to seek creative and distinctive design concepts that meet comprehensive planning requirements while integrating smart features to create a new landmark for Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
Located within the prestigious architectural complex of Ciputra Hanoi Urban Area, the Mixed-Use Commercial, Service, Office, and Hotel Complex at TM01 land plot (hereinafter referred to as the “TM01 Project”) is enriched by the essence of feng shui and benefits from the prosperous spiritual energy of the West Lake area. With its exceptional topography, the site is regarded as a land symbolizing prosperity, stability, wealth, and happiness.
The TM01 Project covers a total area of 19,699 square meters and is planned to include two condotel towers and one hotel and office tower, developed by KITA Group. Enjoying outstanding regional connectivity thanks to its prime location along major arterial roads, the project allows convenient access to key economic hubs of the capital. TM01 is expected to deliver premium commercial and hospitality services meeting international six-star standards.
As the project developer, KITA Group places special emphasis on the TM01 Project from the architectural design selection stage to landscape planning, while ensuring harmonious integration and optimization of functional layouts and amenities. With this objective, KITA Group has partnered with the Vietnam Association of Architects to organize the Architectural Design Competition for the TM01 Project. The competition provides an opportunity for leading domestic and regional architectural and construction firms to showcase their creativity and innovative ideas, meeting stringent requirements and applying smart solutions to help shape a new architectural icon for Hanoi.
The competition takes place from February 14, 2025, to April 25, 2025, with a total prize value of nearly VND 2 billion.

A total of seven qualified architectural consulting firms with extensive experience and numerous award-winning designs in high-rise commercial and mixed-use developments, both domestically and internationally, are participating in the competition. These firms include: Baumschlager Eberle Architekten (BEA); Shanghai Zhongjian Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. (SZADI); Guangzhou Zoneteam Architectural Design & Urban Planning Institute Co., Ltd.; China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. (CABR); HMP Architecture; Cubic Architecture Joint Stock Company; and Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation (VNCC).
At the announcement ceremony, representatives of the participating firms highly praised the architectural design competition organized by KITA Group. Mr. Nguyen Truong Linh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation, and Mr. Cung Thanh Dat, Deputy General Director of Baumschlager Eberle for Southeast Asia, expressed strong appreciation for the competition and affirmed their commitment to contributing outstanding architectural ideas that meet the investor’s rigorous requirements.
At the event, a representative of KITA Group shared:

Also speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Kien – Founder of KITA Group emphasized the importance of the TM01 Project in the Group’s long-term development strategy.
