KITA Group has donated VND 500 million to the 2020 program “The Whole Country Joins Hands for the Poor,” organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the evening of October 17 in Hanoi.

Chairman Tran Thanh Man and Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam received the donation from the representative of KITA Group.
The program attracted contributions from 200 participating units, including localities, agencies, enterprises, organizations, and individuals, especially during 2020 when Vietnam was heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in the early and mid-year, as well as severe storms and floods toward the end of the year.

At the opening ceremony, Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, stated that through this meaningful program, General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong conveyed his regards to officers, soldiers, and people in provinces affected by storms and floods, while also calling on people nationwide to continue encouraging and supporting the poor and those facing hardship.
This activity responded to the movement “The Whole Country Joins Hands for the Poor – Leaving No One Behind,” launched by the Prime Minister, aiming to continue working with the Party and the State to better care for policy beneficiary families, poor households, disadvantaged regions, people affected by natural disasters, and areas with large ethnic minority populations. This is an opportunity to strongly awaken the Vietnamese tradition of solidarity and mutual support.
Do Huu Phuoc, Communications Director of KITA Group, shared: “KITA Group always places great importance on social responsibility because we understand that, alongside business activities, every enterprise must bring positive values to the community. The Group hopes that this contribution will not stop with just a few units, but will continue to spread so that people in difficult circumstances can enjoy warmer and better lives.”
KITA Group consistently emphasizes sustainable community development and corporate social responsibility through various social initiatives, such as providing gifts and scholarships to underprivileged students with outstanding academic achievements during Tet 2020; donating 550 Tet gift packages to policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious service to the revolution, and disadvantaged households; presenting 350 gifts to children with disabilities at the Thi Nghe Center for Disabled Children; and organizing the “Mid-Autumn Festival” to give gifts and create recreational activities for children in Binh Thuy District. The Special Recognition for CSR award at the PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards 2020 is a well-deserved acknowledgment of KITA Group’s positive contributions to the community over recent years.
