KITA Group has swiftly launched the program “KITA Group Joins Hands to Overcome the COVID-19 Pandemic” with an initial budget of VND 20 billion, aiming to support pandemic prevention and control efforts in Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho City, and communities affected by COVID-19.

As part of the program, representatives of KITA Group presented 300 gift packages to policy-beneficiary families and disadvantaged households impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District, Can Tho City.
The program’s activities focus on supporting the Government’s COVID-19 prevention and control efforts. In addition to cash donations, KITA Group has supplied protective gear and medical equipment to hospitals and medical teams in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Can Tho to serve testing, prevention, and treatment needs for COVID-19 patients. At the same time, the program has distributed essential gift packages to disadvantaged individuals whose lives were affected by the pandemic.
Through the collective contribution of practical and meaningful support, on August 3, KITA Group, in coordination with the Can Tho Department of Industry and Trade, donated 300 gift packages worth VND 100 million to policy-beneficiary families, poor households, and disadvantaged people in Binh Thuy Ward, Binh Thuy District (Can Tho City).

Shortly thereafter, KITA Group continued its support by donating 3,000 COVID-19 test kits, 1,000 sets of medical protective suits to the Can Tho CDC, and 6,000 sets of medical protective suits to pandemic prevention units in Cai Rang District and Binh Thuy District. These medical supplies and equipment are expected to help medical staff in Can Tho conduct COVID-19 testing, examination, and treatment more safely and effectively.
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused widespread difficulties and losses nationwide, affecting people’s lives in many aspects. As a corporation that prioritizes social responsibility with a sustainable development orientation, to date, the “KITA Group Joins Hands to Overcome the COVID-19 Pandemic” campaign has carried out numerous community support activities, including donating VND 1 billion to Can Tho General Hospital and Can Tho City Police, providing 700 boxes of medical gloves to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and many other meaningful contributions.

Having participated in initiating the program since the first outbreak with many practical and hands-on activities, Ms. Dang Thi Thuy Trang, CEO of KITA Group, shared:
“With the community’s common goal amid the current developments of the pandemic, the business community—of which KITA Group is a part—has always been ready to join hands with the highest sense of responsibility to support Can Tho in particular and Vietnam as a whole in controlling and pushing back the pandemic. The program also reaffirms KITA Group’s mission to build valuable living environments for the community.”
KITA Group also extends its deepest and most sincere gratitude to government agencies, doctors, medical staff, soldiers, and volunteers on the front lines who have endured hardships, family separation, and countless challenges while dedicating themselves wholeheartedly to protecting the community nationwide.
In addition to community efforts, KITA Group has implemented the program “Vegetables of Love – Resilience Against the Pandemic” for employees, agents, and partners of the Group. With the spirit of “Physical distancing but not emotional distancing,” KITA Group delivered boxes of fresh vegetables directly to employees in Ho Chi Minh City. These gestures carried heartfelt care and wishes for health and safety, helping the entire team remain strong, reassured, and united in overcoming the pandemic.
Business development activities at KITA Group, under the leadership of the Board of Directors and management team, have been adjusted to adapt to the pandemic situation. Alongside strictly complying with central and local pandemic prevention directives, KITA Group continues to maintain sustainable operations and effective remote working practices. Although COVID-19 has posed significant challenges for businesses, including those in the real estate sector, KITA Group views this period as an opportunity—turning challenges into momentum to reaffirm its credibility and strengthen its brand.
