KITA LAND DONATES VND 1 BILLION TO SUPPORT DA NANG IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

KITA Land Joint Stock Company (a member of KITA Group) donated medical equipment worth VND 1 billion to Da Nang City to support Covid-19 prevention and control efforts.

On August 10, Da Nang City continued to receive support from businesses to strengthen resources in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Among them, KITA Land Joint Stock Company contributed VND 1 billion to join hands with the local authorities in mitigating the impacts of the pandemic.

Mr. Nguyen Duy Kien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KITA Group Joint Stock Company, shared: “We wish to contribute our efforts to help the Da Nang authorities overcome this challenging period caused by the complex developments of the pandemic. KITA Group always places great emphasis on social responsibility because we understand that, alongside business activities, every enterprise needs to bring positive values to the community. We hope that this sharing will help Da Nang remain a safe and prosperous destination for its people.”

At the donation reception, Mr. Tran Van Mien, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People’s Committee, expressed his gratitude for the timely and practical support from businesses. “In the context of the pandemic, businesses are facing many difficulties, yet they still support the city—these are truly valuable sentiments,” Mr. Mien said.

Mr. Mien also expressed his hope that businesses would continue striving to overcome difficulties, grow stronger, and make even greater contributions to society.

Currently, thanks to the spirit of solidarity and support for frontline units and the people of Da Nang in combating Covid-19, the city has also received many medical devices, supplies, and essential goods for units directly involved in pandemic prevention and control.
