The Hoa Lac Residential Area Investment and Construction Project, commercially known as Hoa Lac Metro City, has officially broken ground in Yen Xuan Commune, Hanoi. The event marks an important milestone for the project, raising expectations for a new urban space that will grow alongside Hoa Lac’s development.
A New Urban Piece Takes Shape in Hoa Lac
On August 24, Thanh Tin Housing and Urban Development Business Joint Stock Company, a member company of KITA Group, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Hoa Lac Residential Area Investment and Construction Project, commercially known as Hoa Lac Metro City, in Yen Xuan Commune, Hanoi.
Following a period of preparation and the completion of the necessary procedures and requirements, the groundbreaking ceremony marks Hoa Lac Metro City’s official transition into the on-site construction phase, gradually turning the project’s established development vision into reality.
Covering approximately 8.3 hectares, Hoa Lac Metro City is planned to feature a low-rise residential area comprising 192 detached villas, semi-detached villas, townhouses and shophouses, along with an apartment complex and a range of commercial, service and on-site amenity facilities.
One of the notable features of Hoa Lac Metro City is its development orientation based on the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model, which integrates urban development with public transportation. The project is located at the planned intersection of two metro lines: Line 5 (Van Cao – Hoa Lac) and Line 12 (Son Tay – Hoa Lac – Xuan Mai). This location positions Hoa Lac Metro City within a planned public transportation network connecting Hoa Lac with central Hanoi and other key growth areas across the capital.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Kien envisions Hoa Lac Metro City as a project that will move in step with and contribute to the broader development of the area.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duy Kien, Founder of KITA Group – the project developer, said:
